people who painted there wheels!!! i need your help!!!
ok today i tried to take the paint off the wheels i have, but it didnt really go as planned, and now my wheels look like ***
, so i think my only chance now at making the wheels look good is to paint them . I was planning on just primer, then paint, but what primer and what paint? The 3 wheels are still smooth and painted ,but the one is now rough and unpainted and uneven. Can i just paint the 3, and primer and paint the 4th? or do i need to primer and paint all the same? please post pics of your wheels you painted, the type of paint/primer, and times or directions. thanks in advance.

do u think if i only primer then paint one, and just paint the rest over the paint you could really tell?
If you get desperate you can probably have the tires taken off and get aircraft stripper and strip everything off the wheels and then paint them. This way you won't have to do as much sanding (if that's what you're having a problem with)
the only problem i have is one wheel i got most the paint off, and i just did this to one wheel. I wanna paint over the other 3 wheels, and primer , sand, then paint this wheel, but dont want it to look a whole lot different than the rest
Dude, what did you use to take the paint off first? If you used acetone only keep rubbing it in there. I gaurantee you it wont harm the factory clear.

i used almost half a bottle of acetone on one wheel, and it still didnt work too great, then i went to some other stuff thats lime green colored, u leave it on for 29min, it worked a little better, but then it didnt get the primer underneath off and it burns the hell out of your hands.
u gotta rub it really hard. Its probably harder to take off with acetone because you primered it before you painted it.
I just painted mine with no primer and it came off within an hour for all 4 wheels.
