starting problem, any ideas?
'99 accord vtec..
problem, once you crank it, it starts up and turns right off, the owner was told by his previous mechanic that it was his starter goign bad, and that it would do this if not changed, but the car starts up on the first crank, so I dont think its the starter, anyone have any ideas at what it could be?

Check with your local Honda dealer ... there was a recall on the ignition switches on these cars. Symptoms are exactly what you are describing here.
