mp3 of different intakes?
just IMO .. this wouldn't really be a good way to determine the volume/tone of an intake, as it may sound very different in person due to where the microphone was positioned during the recording. I would just go listen to the intakes in person.
I have heard both, and the best way i could describe it (as it has been said before) is by saying the AEM CAI is booming, and vtec really gives a screaming pop. The AEM is more loud. The Comptech intake with Icebox is a more blended tone, whereas the AEM has more of a deep metalicy tone. I dont know man.. the tone is not different enough to worry about. Its more about whether you could cope with the AEMs volume, and what you are looking for out of the car. As far as I am concerned, both intakes are FINE.
