The 90-91, and the 88-89 have different wiring. Ryan

LOL... mines a 89 SI.. all the diagrams ive seen.. didn't work for ****... all i can realy tell you, is match all the wires to the same color. 2 or 3 wont reach, so thats why i addapted my own harness.. but match all colors the same.

the only real stumper i had.. after wirring in my upgraded VSS... was that the oil press. and VSS wire were the same color.. if anything, follow it back to the ECU with a continuity check, and hook it up like that.. as for the turns, and dash lights.. just match the colors.. trust me, it works.

Damn Jigga, ever occur to you to extract the pins and push them into the new spots? (I.E. not cut all the wires)

im in the same boat. i have an 88 hatch with a b16, and i have the SiR cluster. Ive been driving around with out being hooked up for some time now.

Built B16A- How did u figure out all the wires? just match the colors? how do you like the cluster? and does everything function properly?

all but the oil press, and VSS were the same color.. everything else was a direct match. and everything works.. all but the door indicator.. the little green plug.. hatch, and doors dont' light up. also, the "Hot Cat." indicator.. other than that.. everything works..

later on down teh road.. once i get my car back together, after the paint job.. im thinking of getting a low fuel sender and swaping that icon, and making it low fuel indicator.. that, and getting the doors to work. no biggie though.

so, did u have to get an electronic VSS and have that wired to your ECU, then from your ecu to the cluster?
