Default anyone in here ride 50s???

ive always wondered if any of the streetbike riders rido moto cross?
particularly 50cc...
ive got a 2003 Honda Xr 50...cost 1200$
sick bike, lotsa fun on hardpack dirt...made for kids, but theres a slue of adult parts for these bikes which ive started to accumulate...

one company that offer stuff for my bike is http://fast50s.com

u get an idea there of what you could get yourself into

and the sick thing is you can ride these anywhere, and it dosnt hurt too bad when you fall off jump with these.
i just wanna know if any HT members in so-cal rides em, we gotta fairly big group here that go out and jump/race these things wherever we want.
its very addicting

I will probably get one by the end of this year. Addicting in an understatement, those things are sometimes more fun than my street bike.

thyre just too cheap not to get one...
u can finance it too and have 40$ payments
and add stuff to the financing...bars, clamps, throttle kit, pegs, pipe etc...

buddy has got an xr50, it's a blast. we were taking turns on it at a trail last weekend and all these other dirt bike guys on 250s, 400s etc. were laughing at it...that is until a girl came up to us and said 'oh my god, is that a little kid's bike? that is sooooo cute!'

cheap, fun, chick magnet, what else could you ask for?

look at em coming out of the woodworks!

i just installed my five0 racing cromoly forks and 200lb springs up front...took a couple hours but it was worth it...
got an extra inch of travel with the new setup in the front, and it absorbs so much better.

i like the idea of a socal 50's meet....
tell me how sick that would be...
showin up in the hatchback..with the 50 in place of the passenger seat.

Ive followed the 50 thing for a little while, but none of my buddies in Ohio have cought on. I was going to buy one new but the ******** at the Honda shop wanted 300 dollars for assembly, what a joke. I picked up the 50 Nuts dvd and got pretty pumped to go buy one. I think Ill throw down the money to get a new one when my car is back together. Glad to see you guys on HT are into 50's.

Well I'm 5'10 and I can ride it just fine even with the stock bars and pegs. It wont hurt to upgrade the bars though.
