I just bought a jdm 4-1 2.5in header and I do not know what gasket (between the header and cat) to use. I know a s2000 gasket will fit but are there any other gaskets that will do the job? type II legend maybe? what are you guys using?

JDM gasket man. cost $25-$30 at dealer. thats your best bet

 

I figured I could get that I am hoping they will have it in stock so I can do the install tom. but if I have to order something I will definately get that one!

S2K gasket is apparently different, as i went to the Honda dealership last week to get one and it was like 2 inches, looked like a civic one, maybe the parts guy was a moron.

most dealers do not carry the S2k gasket in stock. at least the honda dealer in raleigh didnt.

 

Autozone early nineties Cadillac V8 2.5" ID gasket. Cost me 10 bucks.

 

I ordered my S2k gasket from hparts.com. They had it in stock and I got it in 3-4 days. It fit the JDM 4-1 perfectly.

 

lol. can you not use the stock gasket?

 

Mine is a S2000 gasket as well. It is cheaper then an Acura Legend one.

Yes he apparently had trouble reading the part numbers. The S2000 gasket is 2.5" and fits the DC JDM perfect.

 

Ya, thats what i thought, but he was like no this isnt for an Integra, and im like it doesnt matter, i want an S2k one, and he brought me this 2" one, so i got pissed and left lol.

 

I remember my friend walking up asking for a wheel stud, and the parts guy at the dealer walked back with a valve cover stud. Can't trust these guys at all.
