Doesn't look too bad IMO. I'm not a big painted mudflap fan, but I applaud the effort.

Sleeper though! PPL thought that u got a GSR with 5lugs conversion

 

Looks decent but he won't fool anybody. Picked the wrong color for a sleeper car. Why bother removing the stickers when yellow is only available for ITR.

 

There are GSR repainted to PY out there. Hard to see if u take of the TypeR sticker...

 

Yeah, I've seen a few as well...WRONG color for a sleeper

 

I was thinking more in the line of getting rid of the rear spoiler because it is in the way and not because it would make it look like a sleeper. Plus, the oem ITR spolier probably doesn't do anything unless you are running high track speeds, and sometimes it just looks ricey.

I probably won't go to that extreme, but nevertheless I have never seen a GSR spoiler on a PY ITR. Just soemthing different.

 

Lets see the VIN# cause it walks like a duck and it's talkin like a duck so it might just be a gs-r! JK cause I don't see a sunroof.

its got 5-lugs.

 

This is definitely a Type-R. The guy lives in Alabama and I met him at the Talladega Track event I put together when he dropped by. That is where I got the idea to paint my rain gutters. YOu all should see the emblam that reads "Acura" painted all yellow too. The guy is a Pediatrician and about 40ish but really cool.

 

Nice to know, people in their 40's can also be cool, and it's not just limited to the under 30 crowd.

BTW: This car is obviously a tricked out 94 RS with shaved moulding, 5-lug conversion, 98 front and rear bumpers and a custom paint job. What a wanna be.

 

I'm not under 30...anymore.

Hehe George...actually you've got a point. I never see the over-30 guys typing in all caps minus punctuation, or saying "my Dad just bought me an R for my 16th birthday" or "what kind of turbo should I get to make my R keep up with Ferraris??" As far as I know none of the poseurs I've torched have been over 30.

 

If you're gonna repaint a ITR and change the spoiler like that you shoulda painted it WHITE.....
