if you want a reliable car, chances are you'll end up having a more reliable car with the h22 swap. If you get a good turbo install and good tuning, the accord turbo will be much more fun in the long run.

That's way too much of a general question....turbo doesn't just give you a fixed hp number like a swap with an h22 does (if it's stock)

depending what you do with the h22 or the turbo is what you will get. If you go all motor on the accord H22 it will be pretty quick. If you just turbo an f22 and nothing else it will still be fast but they are still pretty close.

i favor a modded h22 over a turbo f22. That would be the route i would go. Just my 2 cents though

I have a stock 94 Accord with AEM Cold Air and Tonabe Cat Back. I advanced the timing, the car pulls pretty hard. I am able to keep up with alot of DOHC intega's out there.

i say the key here is turbo + h22! not turbo vs. h22

I have never ran anyone with an H22 in there car. Have you ever ran someone with a stock F22 and a setup like mine? Cold Air+Cat Back+ Timing Advance= Power.

there is no way you are making more than 145whp, and even thats stretching it

post some slips or some dyno graphs

noise doesnt equal power

Do the engine swap and the turbo it. you get the best of both worlds.

sums it up right here.
h22 is a money pit to build na or turbo.
But a f22 turbo setup like mine is also a money pit.
A h22 can be faster and build more power then a boosted f22.
But a built boosted f22 can also build more power then a h22.

It all takes alot of cash, its whatever you feel you want to do.

With my turboed f22 untuned i lost to a h22 accord. by half a car length.
With my tuned boosted f22 i beat a stock h22 by half a car length with 7 psi and automatic.

But street racing is getto.. so take it as you may.
