I think they're all in Oregon Region SCCA or running Conference. This past weekend was the SCCA Double National & Regional with Solo-I at Pacific Raceways. I couldn't make it out for the National races, but I didn't see a single Honda or Acura for the Regional races. I was the only H car in the entire Regional field, and I was running Solo-I. Man, we need more Honda product racing up here.
Anyway, had a blast finally driving PR again with the new configuration at turn-9. It's been a year or so since I've driven it and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all day long. Greg warned me about the bumps at the exit of 9, but I had no idea how bad they actually were. I'll be there again this Sunday for a Alfa day, so I'll try some different lines. Still feel pretty slow through 2, 5b and 8. 8 got better towards the end of the day though.
Here's a few pictures if you're interested, and I'll try to get a lap of two of my in-car uploaded tonight.

Get up in that gravel boy!!
Turn 8 (little indy) is one of the hardest corners to get around. If you find the secret you'll get an easy 1.5 seconds and two car lengths by turn 2...and you'll track out way higher.

I wish I could have brought my honda product out monday. PR always gives my a big smile too
I'm really excited to drive sunday and get times. How bad were those bumps? They didn't seem to bother the R but I'm not sure how my car will like them.
-Roldan who is seriously lacking in ITC points, and will hopefully claim some in august.

Too late boy. I have 30 points with only two events left. There's no hope for you now. BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA
Greg,
I was over the dotted line at the exit of 8 later in the day. It helped, and thanks. I'll take any advice I can get. I'll try to get the video up so you can see that.

It is SO lame for us to be offering John tips from here - we should have been there...but we know that.
So, we'll all be at the Rose Cups, in one manner or another.
Greg - you ready?
Victor's coming down - we'll run practice on Thursday - Victors going to try to study my lines while I try to remember them.
Should be the race of the year around here...as always.
Scott, who has much to do, too little time to do it all in, good thing my employers have trained me for year in the art of prioritization...my constant presence on H-T is testament to my success at this...

The telltale leak-down and compression test is scheduled for tomorrow night. But right now, things are looking a little sketchy for the Rose Cups.
My other motor is crated and ready for a Storm Power rebuild and a core diff is standing by to visit OPM. Remind me of the dangers of overspending again...?
I just hope we can all make it out for at least a track day again this summer...

We have to do this...it was a great way to end last year, and would be just as great if not better this year.....After Thunderhill of course...
Scott, who hasn't even started the year, and is already talking about the end of it....that's just not right....

I'll be sure to put my passenger seat in for you this time and see if you have to grab the wheel from me.
John -- who's not been yelled at by Scott yet. I can hear it now: "Comon you mama's boy... what the F&%# are you doing?! Faster!!"

Well... then lets do it! Either 9/7 at Pacific or 10/12 at Portland.
Nash - who votes for 9/7 (better chance for good weather), though I would like to run Portland this year, hrmmmmmmm

One Lap around PR 22 meg "Save as".

No, no, no. The right way to end the racing year is doing the 12 Hours of Thunderhill. For those with mas grande juevos, you can do the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Personally, I am still trying to decide which my budget will allow.
Yeah!
A 12 Hour Enduro!
I can end the 2003 season AND the 2004 season at the same time!
Scott, who has mixed feelings about Enduros...never having raced one...

It is very cool turning laps as the day turns into night. It is an art doing quick driver changes & fuel stops. Support crew makes all the difference between a good race or a very hectic one. In a long enduro, sometimes it is better to let someone pass. A lot can happen in 12 hours.
Worked for me - thanks for the memories. WTH did the woods driver's right before little indy go?? Did you get a chance to try my "outside lane" suggestion there? In the video the uncambered strip to the right of that white line under your right wheels is being left out of the fun

I'm voting for Portland so I can come watch.
Louie - who is a PNW Autocrosser, but hasn't entered an SCCA event yet. (maybee July, the local club doesn't have a meet that month)
