Damn I'm pissed!! I have had 3 sets of OEM Honda fog lights on my 2001 Accord EX break. First time was within the first 3 months of ownership and the dealer said "Sorry, looks like rock damage". So I bought a whole new set from HandA.

2nd Time one of them just cracked all the way accross and let water in. No apparent rock damage. Third time same thing.

Honda won't let you buy just the fog light itself, you have to buy the whole freakin' kit. Has anyone else experienced this problem? My dealer seems to think I ride behind semi trucks waiting for this. I think that going through 3 sets of fog lights when I have owned the car less than 6 months is BS!!! I think there is a problem with the OEM fogs!!!

ANYONE else having this problem? Or am I the only moron with oem fogs?

use a protective layer for the front of the fog lights to prevent cracking/braking

I myself do not have the OEM fogs, but I know quite a few people who do. Only one of them has had problems with the lenses cracking, and the one that did habitually drives too close behind 18-wheelers and the like. He's had a couple different sets that I'm aware of, and each time they cracked the rock damage was quite obvious.
