i wanna my teg for a mr2. any suggestions>?

well getting sick of all this honda junk and wanna get a real motor like the 3sgte mr2 turbo. what should i do?? was gonna turbo my integra gsr but i dont hink i wanna anymore.

I have a suggestion, go post this on a Toyota board, maybe they will give a ****...I wanna see a MR2 whoop my teggy...not gonna happen...

lol, its understandable the amount of sarcasm i am receiving. but you guys react to the mr2 as if it is inferior to a honda?? the mr2 turbo stock beats any honda in stock trim with an excption to MAYBE an s2k. you guys can laugh al you want cuz with all the money put into making a honda get 240 whp could get an mr2 to 400whp+. well i didnt expect many people on this board to know much outthe 3sgte anyway.

well it is only pushing 15 psi on pump gas street tuned. the t67 can blow out over 30 psi which that motor can handle. i havent seen anyone in here with that mild tuning running those times. hell i havent even ever seen a honda handle a t67 without being a full out drag car.

guy, my setup was nowhere near as extreme as some of these guys on this boards and i went 12.0@118 on 14psi in my pig heavy ITR
this was just basically a drag kit and some wiseco pistons on crowers.

I have experience with them. I watched a buddy pur countless dollars into his and run high 12`s at best. It was a money pit and a TOTAL NIGHTMARE to work on..ask anybody. It`s awesome you want to do something different, we`re just telling you to do your homework first. I don`t think you have. Working on that mid-engine is like playing twister.
Oh that's right I forgot. It's not about track times anymore. It's about who can spool the biggest turbo. Cause I need a T67 to run 12's in a Honda.
Edit: I just thought about something. I have a friend with a 92 hatch, B18C1, Iceman headlight ram air, Open JDM 4-1, Clutch, 20x8x14 slicks and a 60shot w/ a little pulled timing and some colder plugs run with that MR2. I am not disrespecting MR2's by any means. There is a reason why you don't see millions running around on the street or at the track for that matter. There are better choices if you are so tired of this "honda junk".

im guessing you guys didnt watch any of the videos then:the 10 sec and 11 sec mr2, mr2 vs nsx, rx-7, supra?? and does my first post ask for any arguments?? i asked for suggestions and these people have turned it into arguments. i havent argued with anyone and just made my reasonable points. hey i dont see any hondas getting 224 whp from and exhaust, intake, boost control and safc. and running low 14's-13's stock trim. thanx for the posts tho guys. i know you are all flaming the mr2 but that is your opinion.

Listen, if you've been here for a while, you know that honda-tech is more then just about honda's. There continues to be alot of active users who don't even drive honda's. They are enthusiasts, who like us appreciate any car/platform with style, as well as a motor to back it up. I've seen threads from SS camaro's to 1985 GTI's, all are given respect on the board if it is done tastefully.
I'm sure you would have gotten A LOT more postive comments if you hadn't started the thread with the following sentence:

yes i understand eg6sr, but i explained a few threads up that i was refering to my situation with my teg. my new clutch sucks, powerband feels like crap, needs a dam valve adjustment again. it just feels cumbersome to own this car, i wasnt really even shooting for it in the 1st place. ive seen other forums on other cars and they didnt get all this flamework! i explained before that i wasnt referring to all hondas were junk, and people are still flamers!
