what do they look like?

from what ive seen they are just black plastic right?and they arent equal length are they?

the factory pro are metal and equal length. made about 2-3HP difference on their bike dybo charts.hmm.

The two outside ones are about 1" shorter than the inside two. The factory pro ones might not be long enough. How long of a system (mani flange to stack opening) are you shooting for?

i havent got into tuning harmonics and stuff like that yet.

what i do wonder is if the 954 TB's are externally the same as the 929. i had a friend measure the diameter of the throttle bodies where you slip the rubber manifold boot on and its 1 and 15/16th inches. im hopn the 954 is the same. cuz then ill get the 954 and my "manifold" will still be ok.

Your eyes will go crossed. I kinda have an idea of what I would like to do.

I have an extra b16 mani that I was going to use the flange from and then I was going to make my own runners cause the b16 runners dont quit line up. I should have got a set of GSXR 750 itbs cause they are a tad larger and I believe that they are individual, not a unit.

The tallest ones are 5". As far as not sealing w/o the box, I kinda get the impression after messing around with them, but I dont that thats anything a little RTV couldnt fix.

RTV fixes a lot of things. I'd give grey assembly adhesive the nod before rtv first. Shouldn't make a difference though. The grey stuff just seems to act better as a structural brace where rtv is sealant first. I'm sure that made no sense.
