Another lapping day under my belt...parts reviews inside also...
So today was my third day out in the ITR. Was sunny from the start, it was about 70degrees at 10am, so I knew that tire wear and brakes were going to be an issue by the time the afternoon rolled around. I invited a fellow H-T member (WayneGro) to ride shotgun for a few laps...I'm sure he will post his review of the experience soon...
Over the weekend I installed Goodridge SS lines and Motul RBF 600 (props to Mike @ IPS for the prompt service!). And also I put my JDM ITR tranny with the ATS 4.9 in the car since the last time out. My new parts review is as follows:
Brakes: To accompany the hawk blues I must say this setup is extremely good. Brake fade is almost non-exhistant after 8 laps in 80 degree weather (was my average length session). Every lap there is a ~120-60, 100-40, 90-60, 80-30 brake zones, and I especially noticed the improved brakeing in the 120-60 and 80-30 zones. The SS lines made heel-toe much easier than before...it was almost too difficult to heel-toe with the OE lines because of how "touchy" the brake pedal was.
ATS FD: This is my first time on the track with the ATS in the R. I must say this has helped a TON out there. For those that have been to Pacific Raceways, you know there are a lot of elevation changes, and the ATS made coming out of uphill turns much much better. However, I didn't notice the LSD grabbing more than before as I've read in some other ATS reviews.
The RE010's I was using were on their last leg...I actually quit before the day ended becaus the tread wear was so bad. They did not hold up as good as I would have liked, but for a 'street' tire they have performed nicely. I have decided that I will purchase some A032R-H's and mount them on some Mellenia wheels for the next lapping day. I think tires at this point are my limiting factor in driving the car faster. I had to actually come off the track after 8-10 laps to let the tires cool because the heat of the day was making the tires loose grip easily.
After I had my initial fun, I spent about an hour or so testing out different settings on my Koni Yellows. I found that I was able to carry a more "stable" line through turn 2 (only high-speed turn at PR) using a 2/2.5 setting (#'s indicate number of complete turns of the adjuster from soft)...and I basically stuck with that setting for the rest of the afternoon. I tried 2.5/2.5, which is almost full stiff, and liked it, but was almost too stiff in the front because I felt like I was understeering a little more on the low speed, sharp corners. 1.5/2 and 1.5/2.5 were also good, but I think I'll stick with 2/2.5 for now.
I had a camera in my car for a bit, and I'll try and get some good vids up tomorrow once I upload them.

First off I would like to thank Marshall for inviting me to sit shotty in his ITR. Wow. This was my first time actually on PNW's track or any track for that matter, what a rush. The first couple of laps it felt like my ***** were in my throat!! You forget what an amazing car the ITR is. Marshall had little trouble passing cars with double his power output.
I would like to note that if you are looking for a great mod the ATS FD is simply bad ***. His ITR pulled like it had a set of Jun3's (which I have). I think the ATS will be my next mod.
I can't wait to actually get my car back in 'track' condition and join the fun. The weather could not have been better, and there were a **** load of bad *** cars. (360 Modena, GT3 Porsche, ZO6, ect)

Have you looked into the A032R-S compound as opposed to the H compound? I read on tirerack.com that the S compound is more suited for lighter cars as opposed to heavier where the H compound is reccomended.

thats the dumbest thing I've read all morning , you dont want a touchy engagement or release on the brakes , you want a nice linear feel , getting rid of the rubber lines and the expansion that comes along with them is a good thing.

Sound like you've still got some air in those line.
Re-bleed, SS line should make it better not spongy.

I've rebled the system a total of two times since the SS lines install, I am 100% sure there is no air in it. It is hard to describe how the pedal feels, there is more travel before anything starts to happen (compared to before), but it is WAY easier to modulate once you get into the part of the pedal that works.
Here is a question though, what is the appropriate way of flushing the ABS system?

I've rebled the system a total of two times since the SS lines install, I am 100% sure there is no air in it. It is hard to describe how the pedal feels, there is more travel before anything starts to happen (compared to before), but it is WAY easier to modulate once you get into the part of the pedal that works.
