Default Bug and Tar Remover?

The bug and tar remover from Walmart in the blue can. Is it good or bad for a car's paint?

it's probably the same as WD-40... I personally just put some car wash concentrate directly onto a bug cleaner sponge and use that. It will take off most stuff except for really stubborn tar spots, then I will use WD-40 for that.
