Default Turbo accord with larger intercooler

I have an intercooler 30x9x3 1/2. I need some pics of how you guys mounted your intercoolers and what you cut out. Not so much worried about the sides, just on the top and bottom, and where you cut the bumper support out. I have a 94 accord, also can you post pics of how you cut the stock bumper to get it to fit back on.

I used to have the intercooler that had all the piping come back to the passenger side with minor fitment issues. This one is becoming a PITA, but hopefully worth it. Thanks

I have a 29x10.5x2.9 spearco too.

It will fit with some cutting on the front metal bumper support... sometimes damn near in half... then just test fit the bumper cover and trim accordingly.

Hope you dont mind cutting factory stuff up.

I dont know the lengths and width. I can measure it later if need be, but here is a pic.

We had to shave the bumper support in order for the I/C to fit there. I bolted the I/C to the crossmember that runs up in down right inline with the hood latch, down to the lower crossmemeber on the car. Rememoved one of the horns got a longer bolt with the same thread size as of where the horn was and a bushing spacer few washers and there she be..

You're going to need to do some shaving to the bumper. We haven't fitted my IC to my bumper yet but it's a 40x12x3 1/2.

If you don't get to it before me, i'll try to take pics

So you actually put it behind the bumper support? Also did you have to cut a hole on the driver's side for the intercooler piping? Thanks again. BTW your car looks good.

That's exactly like mine, did you get it from streetimports.com? Have fun getting it to fit though, i had to cut more out of the bumper support to get it in there.

I know it fits better with a kit, but i'm trying to stay away from that. Not because i don't like the look, but because i don't want to deal with the headaches of fixing it if i scrape, ect... Yours looks really good though.

mine is bolted to the frame of the car where the power steering cooler used to be. It's right behind the bumper support but the bumper support is only covering 1/2 an inch of the intercooler.... my 96-97 bumper fits like a glove.. no hacking at all.. but the 94-95 bumper i had to hack some...

i have the same intercooler as drag4accord
