Solution for horn button with aftermarket steering wheels?
Yeah, i saw that already, but for some reason i'm not too keen on the idea.
But i guess there may be no other choice.

I just change the steering wheels both on my car and my friend's EG civic....
I can tell you this is not that hard to reconnect the horn botton......it just took me about 30 minutes to make it work.
.....after you remove the OEM SRS steering wheels, you will see a " round-shape movement plastic THING " at the bottom of the steering wheels. You need to remove that THING .... and then you will see that THING have 2 wires which with a yellow and a gray plugs. You have to disconnect those plugs (which is located right near the steering wheels level adjuster)
in order to remove that THING. The yellow plug is for the SRS system and the Gray one is the HORN !!! Just jam the wire from that Gray plug into any ground or matal part of the car......the horn will sound !!!

i work at a junk yard (no parts, don't email me) and i brought home a 90 civic steering column. i pulled the little copper dinger (the ground for the steering wheel, right behind the wheel on non-srs cars) out of it, as did i the wire for the horn down to the end of the connector and tapped into the horn ground wire right next to the fuse panel. BAM! my jdm non-srs wheels horn works fine in my usdm car. right now i am working on getting my cruise to activate using either the factory fog light or a/c switch. i am a stickler for details......
