Default Engine Questions to Jog the Mind

Alright, I keep hearing people say that you gotta resleeve your cylinder walls if you wanna go forged pistons. I'm rebuilding my h22a1 right now and I plan on putting in forged pistons but I can't afford to drop in new sleeves so i was wondering if it would last without the resleeving. Also I wanna know if the f22 and the h23 cranks are the same as the h22 crank. Anyways any help would be nice.
-oh yeah also where can you get cranks for a h22 anyways?-

The H23 internals are very similar to the H22, same bore block with more
stroke. The compression ratio on the H23 is slightly less, and
the rods are longer and the cranks are different.
