Never done a v6 so I can't help you too much.

definately replace the water pump. the one for the 4 cyl is only like $45 so I guess the v6 isn't too much more expensive and it beats the hell out of doing it all again when the pump goes bad.

good luck with the crank pulley bolt

I didn't have much of a problem with mine. Everyone said it would be tough but it really wasn't bad at all. I bought the special tool for it though. I used one 1/2" drive rachet, one 1/2' drive breaker bar, the special tool, 19mm socket and cheater bars on the end of each 1/2" drive tool. Oh yeah, the motor was also out of the car at the time, so I'm sure that made it easier.

I've only done the timing belts on 4-clydrs. Definately replace the water pump. I would get an original Honda pump also. The crank shaft bolt can be tuff. We just got a 1/2 in ratchet (sp?) w/cheater bar AND also kept upward pressure by cutting a 2X4 piece of wood and put between ground and wrench. Good luck
