i was at autozone the other night and i noticed they have a "3 step system" so i bought the step 1 because it says its a paint cleaner/swirl remover, etc.. they were right.. i watched swirls and actual scratches disappear as i was rubbing it on by hand.. so if its been a while since you've detailed your car.. go get the 3 step system and a clay bar kit.. clay first..
i already had polish and wax, so i used my own stuff..
im very happy with the turnout.. the car has never been this reflective..
now some pics i took for fun of some of my upgraded stuff..
apex headgasket, im so jdm
Flex-a-Lite 210 dual 12" fans
300ZXTT front brakes (4 piston caliper, brembo cross drilled rotors)
and my FMIC.. yeah my bumper is chipped up, nothin i can do about that til the car gets painted some time down the line..
this is the only part that sucked

Good looking car, but how can you complain about weather in SoCal? Try a summer day in St. Louis. So much humidity, it is like you are swimming through the air.

well, either way you look at it.. it sucks.. ive been to mexico and nebraska.. during the summer.. and wow, the humidity is horrible... but where i live its like a desert heat.. very hot, very dry.. its 92 now.. in june, july, and august it will be between 100 - 105 just about every day.

Your car is HOT! Makes me kinda regret choosing my DC2 over an S14, but I have my reasons... How long did if take you to find the car? When I was doing my car search, everyone I came across had something wrong with it or was automatic. NEway, I'm rambling...but I'm
'n the car. I've got a friend with an MCS14...he'd be nutting if he saw your car; he's mad cuz I pull on his truck engine for fun
I'm thinking about doing that stuff with my black (aka swirl city) car. How much did the supplies cost and how long did it take you?
I'd be dying in that weather! I'm in seattle right now and it's LOVELY mid 70's weather, and I think that's hot!
