Default painting my grill... what do I need??

Im painting my mugen grill and I need to know what I nee to do this. And the steps to do it right. Also...my car is a 98 EX coupe and its silver. Does anyone have that special "paint number" so i can buy the exact paint. Thanks a lot!

I believe they call it vogue silver mettalic... i think.

its called a color code btw..

get your moldings and side skirts painted while your at it

1. Clean off Grill really good.
2. Lightly Sand to scuff up the surface on the whole thing. Rinse.
3. Apply around 3 normal layers of Plasti-kote basecoat (find at local advanced auto parts)
4. Let dry.
5. Apply 3 layers or more of Plasti-kote import color (Found at local advanced auto parts too ); letting 5 mintutes between each layer for it to dry.
6. After last coat of paint, let dry for at least 1/2 hour.
7. Apply around 5 coats of plasti-kote clear coat leaving 5 minutes between each layer to dry.
8. Wala. Finished.

should I be able to walk in with my colour code and they have that exact paint?

also is it the same method when painting sidemoldings and side-skirts/front lip?
