Default Sparco Torino an Improvement?

Will the Sparco Torinos hold me in and offer better lateral support than the stock R seats?

EDIT: What about the Sparco Milano?

Yes they will, but I prefer the Recaro SRD, It's just more comfortable IMO.

i've owned both, and i can say yes to both questions. i would sit in one first, however, and confirm that they are comfortable for you.

I have to agree here.

But personally I prefer the EVO over anything else (in my case the EVO2). Theres just no beating that "a part of the car" feeling/attachment.

But, as comparing the SRD to the Torino, I liked the SRD much better.

SRD vs. Turino
SRD WINS!!!!!!!

The Turino is only about 10% better than stock in lateral grip
plus it also weighs about 10% more

The sparco milano is a sparco torino covered in Alacantra. VERY nice seats for a weekend pimp car, but I like the grip of the SRD's better imo.

I do not like turino's, not enough support in the leg area, seat is heavy also!
I had SRD's and loved them!

- Missing my SRD's!! Somone trade me SRD's or buy these!!

Both Torino and the SRD are heavier than the stock seat. If you want lateral support for autox, buy a harness and keep the oem seats.

As far as the EVO or something, not legal for ST (which is where I assume you are going to use them).

I really liked the Torino I had in my Hype R. More comfortable on my back for long trips.

BUT. The Wedge bracket/Sparco slider combination sucks ***. Puts the seat up a solid 1.5" above stock. Barely acceptable on the street, and unacceptable once you get a helmet on.

Took it out well before I even decided to sell the car.

I think any Sparco seat with there Car Specific bracket and sliders is way to high for almost anyone's taste.
