how can you tell if your ecu is fucked?
can anyone tell me if my ecu is fucked? how can i find out my ***** a reprogrammed 5-speed from an automatic and it idles badly. I pulled the iac valve it stops. put it back it bad idles occur again. then i pulled the tps it stops then put it back in and when i drive around normally and come to a stop yep you guessed it bad idling occurs. i should just take it to diagnostics which i am going to do but before i go can anyone tell me what can i expect to be fucked up?

if all the sensonrs and chit check out fine, then you need to get a good ecu from a friend or something that works and plug it up, if that fixes it then you know its your ecu.
what codes is it throwing, if any?

but should my ecu redline at damn near 8 i have no mods its a reprogrammed automattic to a 5-speed thats very bad right?

uhhh...myeah. Our motors cant take that stock. What ROM was programmed on to it?

i dont know its a p13 computer thats all i know and it came from hmotors online ive gotta get him that **** back . this sucks man i thought they dont do grimey **** like that. im gonna give him back the computer.

they dont, you went to a terrible shop who hacked your swap
and on a stock tach in an accord it will rev to 8k, which is actually 7600

if you find out your ecu is ficked let me know. I have a spare ecu for a 93 manual that I would be willing to get rid of for 50 or so. I bought it when I thought mine was messed up but turns out it wasnt. I tested it and it works fine. Holla if you need it
