the only thing is 93's didnt have the d16z6. no vtec in 93 not till 94 and 95. so whats up with that?

well whoever wants to look at the engine block and look at the code is more than welcome. that car has a d16z6 in it. dont know what's up with that but get you info right before ****** up my thread. you ******** that arent buying shouldnt be in this forum.

not true! mine is a 93 and came with a z6 and my buddies 92 ex also had a z6. well his diid till mine blew and he swapped and i put his z6 in my car

 

Just because the valve cover doesn't say VTEC, doesn't mean it's not a D16Z6. The 92-93 Z6 valve covers were plain except for the "H".

I also have a 93 EX, so let's give some insight into this, shall we?:

thank you!!!!! in 94-95 they started printing vtec on valve cover. in 92-93 they just printed "H" on the valve cover. patastinky and mugensport9 stop talking **** in my thread-you broke *** *****$%#$%.....

my '93 had a sohc VTEC, it just didn't say"VTEC" on the valve cover

i was only asking so that u could verify. i know other people think that, not everyone is educated on the sohc gay honda motor, sorry. either way the way u go about saying is just dick and wrong. i was asking and i can post in whatever forum i want (except moderators of course). im sure your attitude is going to stear people away from buying it. either way its purple and its sohc. makes for a cool car yo!

I just like to educate as much as I can, without disrespecting anyone. Real Honda knowledge is what distinguishes the H-T'ers from the ricers, and hopefully turns some of the former ricers into real H-T'ers. Good luck with the sale on eBay!

right now i own a 98 wrangler sahara.
and im in the process of building a fun project car, a fully built b18c eg coupe. the civic is all my money. even tho my dad gave me the jeep.

so just as i said before u all need to stop assuming. and go educate yourselves. btw. i was honestly looking at this car to buy. i first saw it on ebay and now on here, i was only wondering about the motor because on kbb.com they state that 92-93 dont have vtec motors in the ex/si model. so i belived that. i now know that it was just not posted on the valve cover.

i was just wondering about the engine, and u got all defensive and turned into an ***. looks like u lost a sale, because i was ready to buy.

I don't know where you get your info buddy, my 93 (which supprisingly looked the same as this one) had the infumous D16Z6.

What is the WV state abreviation? That is a nice price and if you were any were in California, I would be driving there now to pick it up.
