Hey I got the 96 JDM ITR suspension on my LS but the pads in need of change. Can anyone tell me if 98 up USDM ITR brake pads will work for me? Thanks.

They will not work...

I think the brakes are the same as the GS-R though...

I'm 110% positive that GS-R pads are the same/identical as 96 JDM ITR pads. I bought pads for my GSR from a guy who owns a 96 ITR and theyre the same pad!

I think thats correct. The 96itr brake setup is basically a 4x114.3 gsr brake setup.

So are the 96 ITR brake calipers GSR's? If so when did the Type R get a brake upgrade?

 

all usdm are 5lug (upgraded), i forget the exact year that happened in japan, maybe 97?
