Not sure if this q have been ask before... Anyone here can help me out, my bro is in a dillema....should he get a dc5r/ep3?? He like both cars, so it boils down to performance & handling. What do you ppl think...which has a better edge?? And in terms of aftermarket product, which car have more aftermarket products? From the search and mags i see, most of the parts are more for the dc5r.

 

I myself was at this crossroad. I went with the Integra. Reasons, the Integra has a slight power advantage, if you can call 5ps and .4kg-m of torque an advantage. Also the Integra weighs 30-40kg lighter than the Civic. Right there that is a huge plus. The Integra comes with the Brembo front calipers and the rears are also made by Brembo. The price, the Civic would of cost me a whopping $650 less after it was to the same specs as the stock Integra. This included HID lights and A/C. Unfortunately here in Japan, you can not just get the HID and A/C, you have to get the whole C package, which added on ¥330,000 to the original ¥2,200,000 price. The Integra's price with A/C is ¥2,590,000.
I also just like the look of the Integra better, although I really do like the new Civic R.
Tell your buddy, whatever his choice, it will be a wise one.

The DC5R will always be wanted by car owners, DC5R&gt;EP3

 

K . Yeh, my bro do know the dc5 have a slight power gain over the ep3..but we didnt know the dc5 was lighter...alwayz thought it was the ep3 that was lighter. Reason being that the ep3 looks smaller and thus we assume its lighter. Thanks for your input Talking about brembo brakes on the dc5, thats what i am looking at currently...putting the dc5 brakes on my 01 civic. Thankx anyway...

Not always . I would love any Civic R over any Integra R.

 

i deno...i like the ek9 a lot more than the dc2...but the ep3 is kinda iffy to me...i prefer the dc5 over the ep3 anyday

Thx for the input, think my bro will opt for the dc5r..but he will do some more research 1st. Yeh, i too like the ek9 over the dc2, as for the current ep3 & dc5..i prefer the dc5, but then..it aint me thats getting the car Thx anyway ppl...
