Just wondering if anyone has heard of them? They are local to me and seems that they are pretty big in the NHRA ProStock. Just curious if I was the only one left in the dark.

i useto weld cars and fab stuff for willie rells at nite back then i worked for a guy name bob meyer doing top fuel cars and federal mogul dragster car also.

 

OMG....Reher Morrison are like the Gods of building Big Block Chevy Pro-Stock for Years and Years,They're Huge and Probably one of THE best engine builders around.

bruce allen i think is a turbo and fuel inj guy i think he had some thing to do with indy cars

 

He came from McLaren in Michigan, where he'd been involved in the Buick Turbo V6 Indy program.

 

Reher Morrison have been huge in NHRA PRO STOCK for Decades they had the Camaro driven by Lee Shepherd that dominated unitl he died in a testing crash.....they are still all over the place Monster Chevy Engine developers

wow...Lee Shepherd,that's a name i havn't heard in a long time ...was one of my favorite drivers back in the day.....now...i'm a WJ fan

 

Also a big WJ fan though Jeg is growin' on me. neither of them could hold Bob Glidden's Jock though

 

Bob Glidden!?!....i didnt like him at the time and truely enjoyed it everytime Sheperd or Johnson beat him(partly because i was more into chevies back then)....but i like Glidden now

Hey Art, maybe you should start nudging elbows with them to get them more involved in Sport Compact racing..maybe a sponsor for the CRX??...haha

This is a little off topic..but since you are talking about Big Block NHRA here...any comments about the Extreme Rush event going on this weekend??...I hope that the Pro RWD&FWD do a good job of representing for this side of the sport..I think they are all going to be nervous going in there wanting to put on a good show without having problems with the cars in front of the Powerade fans that havent seen this racing in person

 

Well, Ive been going over there on a weekly basis now. When Earl comes down next month we are making a field trip to visit Reher Morrison thanks to Larry from Endyn. I thought it was cool when we went in there and all these old guys were talking about in the sixties how they did this and that. It was funny when they would say, "Remember that head you did for me in 72...." It was like hearing a bed time story from your grandfather.

The did some work on my Crower rods and made them look brand new! Right now they are doing a line hone on my RS block since the crank wouldnt turn. That is another story I might share later.

Yep... I have toured their facility before. I also took tons of pictures and recorded a few engine dyno runs.

 

Yeah it seems that Reher Morrison builds about half the engines that are in the Pro Stock class. Kinda like the Pro Stock bikes Vance and Hines or either Freedom Motorsports used to build damn near everyones engine that raced in that class. Jeg Coughlin I think that he runs his own engine program now.

 

I wanna go visit Reher Morrison and Endyn when I come down...take me art, take me...Ill come a day early if I need to.
