yeh there's a video of the viper at the bottom of the thread, 1.6 sec. 60' 6-sec. 1/8 mile and 9-sec. 1/4 mile.

The civic's parking brake was dragging a bit, rear rotor glowing during the race.

Ok, asides from being a repost... The only thing sleeper about that car is the stock exhaust... and if you are noticing the stock exhaust, you probably can't miss the SRR LCA's, and other bling bling suspension components... and I doubt you could miss the sound of the turbo spooling/wastegate opening... or the fact that it is lowered on some MF8's.

Umm.... compared to the majority of cars i see around portland... its sleeper... I think the main idea is that it doesn't look like a low 11/high 10 second car. just give the guy some props.

 

Whats up with his rear brakes? See how they start to glow? Some friends pointed it out, maybe the ebrake cable is to tight.

You wouldn't really expect any streetable honda to run a 10 or 11... But I wouldn't really say all streetable 10/11 second hondas are sleepers. IMO, if the suspension components were painted flat black, and the car was rolling at about stock ride height on some HX's, then it would be a mad sleeper.... And no where did I say the man didn't deserve props. It is a very hot car... it is just that the word sleeper does not come to mind when I see it.

 

slap a bra on that car and it'll have more of a sleeper look...

To answer everyones questions as to why the rear brakes were glowing..

BTW: seen it before, and I still like watching it.

 

sweet setup, very respectable car.

 

Could someone please convert it to WMV or something smaller. It will take me over an hour and a half to download at my 28.8 connection. If you would I would greatly appriciate it alot.
