Do the Crx EF7 or EF8 bolt directly into a 90-91 civic h/b?

someone.... well.... two people told me it wouldn't actually, that's why i'm asking, i thought it would too, just wanna check. anyone w/ first hand experience?

 

ive been told it wouldnt..crx and hb rails are different? i dont know..but few friends have tried it and said it doesnt work.

 

they dont fit, i know that 90-91 CRX si seats didnt even come clost in my 91 DX, thats when you do custom mounts like i did

 

most likely you should be able to remove the brackets from the bottom of the DX and place it onto the other seat...or just go custom

tried that to it didnt work, your gonna have to go custom

 

You can't remove the rails off of the bottom pan and swap it over. What you CAN do is take the seats to an upholstery shop and have them swap the bottom pans(with rails attached_. I know this works because I have done it on a friends car.

 

You know something weird I havent accually seen a set of seats on any EF have the same 2 sets of rails. What I mean by this is that I have swaped seats from a 91' si to a 89' DX and they mounted different. I have swaped seats from a 89'si to a 88' Si and they mounted different I dont know what the hell. This is weird ****.

 

if you fudge with enough it should fit but they sit like 2-3 inches lower just get civicSI seats my 88 has 91 seats

 

i have CRX seats in my wifes STD and it sits toooo low
i'm searching for Si seats now

 

I had to modify the rails of my 91 CRX SI seats to fit them in my 91 HF.
