Another question to throw at ya. In order to fit a aftermarket ITR suspension on my GSR will I just need the ITR Rear lower LCA's? or do I need the fronts also?
Thanks!
Thanks!

thank you.
thank you.
buying used is questionable b/c you never know what those LCA's have been through, though they go for ~75 a pair.
or
you can buy them brand new from Len(sn on the board) for 90 bucks + preferred shipping and not have to worry about them being bent etc.

I bought my ITR LCA's from http://www.passwordjdm.com
you'll probably break a bolt or two (just know in advance)...the bolts aren't cheap. Josh (user Misfit) also broke a socket (one of mine
) on it too. Anyway...it is fairly straight forward from what I've looked at.
Apparently the endlinks are a little different so you will have to grind yours (?)...I can visualize stuff pretty well once I'm down there so I don't think it's a big issue.
Now for installing shocks, some of them require you to drill the top hats (enlarge). If you're just doing a stock ITR you'll be fine. I might also add that http://www.passwordjdm.com has ITR suspension setups for $100

i didn't have to grind anything when installing the LCA to the endlinks. everything seemed to bolt up fine.

thanks guys I really appreciate all the responses. If Len is selling new sets for $90 shipped I think he's the man to go with!
Edit: Soup, when are those ITR SSR rear lca's coming out? *bilng* *bling*

Do you know if there are differences in the jdm and usdm type-r suspensions parts?Im thinking of getting the sway bars already, and i was gonna get some cheap suspension for now until i could get better. So then i was thinking of the type-r springs and shocks with the Lca's anyways cause i would need that later! But would that be a good idea for now on my 97 GSR?And would all of it bolt on without anyhting else? And what would be the differances in the parts i listed?
USDM and JDM ITR springrates are the same, dunno about the dampers though.
JDM rear sway is 23mm, USDM is 22mm.
ITR's and GSR's share similar front LCA's, but the rear's are different.
Those are the major sus differences, iirc.

Right, No need to grind they ft the same way. Endlinks are the same.
