2001 SE Lude Vs. 95 240sx SE
so my buddy is buggin me to race him, he's about 240-260lbs, where me and my one passenger are about 330lbs combined. We were both heading out to a local bar to get a couple drinks, wasn't planning on taking his offer, but when the light ahead turned red, it was hard to resist. Off the line, had him by about 3/4 car length, topped out 2nd and had about a half car, topped out 3rd and had a bumper. He argues and says he was pulling, but he called it quits at about 130km/hr. Then he says he wasn't trying! LOL fun all the same, great battle.

I think the prelude engine has much more power responsiveness than the 240. A 240 guy at the last auto-x said pretty much the same thing. And I've been beating them in STS consistantly now. I'd say if you find a turbo 240 forget about it. Speaking of which the 240 seems like a great car to turbo.
