which HID do i use
here you go ive done hid installs on projectors with 2 different sizes of hid's, in 1 set of projectors i used HID's from a 2001 acura tl sized H4,, fit with some modification to the housing, shaved it a bit where the builb goes in,,,, then i used an h3 hid kit from hanabi i think for my friends car,, that was a little less brighter but in the end the smaller h3 bulb that usually is in the projectors anyway has less heat and less of a chance to burn out,, so i saw in the end do the h3 hid kit in the projectors,, or chuck the riced-out projectors keep your oem;s and put in the h4 hid kit, its way brighter,,, looks like a tl, cl, or rl,,,hot!!!
One this also is how much money do you want to spend there are alot of people out there who make crappy HID kits I think if you truely want to do it right check this site out http://home.earthlink.net/~pliepl/page2.html and see the diffirent retros he did they are pretty sweet also just some info your projectors right now were only made for halogen so when you throw HID in there you could possibly blinding everybody out there Im not saying its impossible I think I was reading that CATZ makes a good HID system but for me Im saving up to buy some audi projectors that were made for HID and retro them into an aftermarket projector housing http://home.earthlink.net/~pliepl/page2.html
Well I checked the link and I think too many people have looked at the site or something you can see when you try to go there it says overquota but keep trying, the site is this guy with a 97 civic thats put audi s4 projectors in he also did bmw, lexus is300, s2000 he has alot of pics so check it out when it gets back up but for now just in case you wanted more info go to hidforum.com for tons of info
