Default Loss of horsepower?????

I am about to order the apexi n1 full cat exhaust...for my 92 si hatch (d16z6)

Question: Do they make the apexi n1 full cat in 2.25 piping??
so far i have only found it in 60 mm and that is 2.5 (2 1/2)

If i get 2.5 will i loose horsepower??? I plan on being all motor

also i am looking for a place to order it 'rpmmotoring doesnt have any in stock'
anyone know anywhere else?????

*EDIT* I also dont want my exhaust to be angled

THANKS

Nope, only comes in 2.5" to my knowledge. You could just buy the muffler and get custom 2.25" piping made. And no, you wont lose power. If you plan on staying all motor and building your motor up, you will benefit from the larger piping. As for where to order, try Options Auto or Wholesale Hyperformance. I have gotten exhaust systems from both of them and I am happy with their service.

the magnaflow site s recommends no more than 2 1/4 " piping for 4 cyl motors..unless ur going some FI or heavy motor build ups..we like to think any mods. we make to our cars are atleast heavy..but they re really not

mags. rec. are 2 1/4 for 4s..2 1/2 for 6s ..and 2 1/2 to 3 for FI s

i tend to beleive them since i had a custom 2 1/2" mandrel without a resonator put on my GT with a mag muffler..and its hardly loud at all cept at WOT

BTW..mag does make a full cat back for ur car with 2 1/4" piping .. http://www.magnaflow.com

I have the Apex N1 on my car, and I know the outside of the piping is 2.5, but I don't think the inside is. Comparing it to a true 2.5 inch section of pipe that was laying around, the inside was smaller.
