i need honest opinions.....what would you buy a 89 civic Si hb or a 92-95 ex

i would go w/ the si. that's mostly what you're going to get in here because we're all biased to the 4th gens. my buddy has a 92' cx and i like it. there are more parts available for the 92' but the si is already going to have the beefed up suspension. if the si has a sunroof there's a chance it could leak. if you'e going to gut it and swap the motor than take the one you think looks best. if not i'd go w/the si. it already has a decent motor and is lighter i believe.

I would go with the 92-95 if its hb, body style looks alot better, and they are just as good as the older civic if not better... they also have a larger engine bay for turbo and such. also bf b16_madman said he would go with it 92-95 too because of this and its a newer car so prolly wont cause you as many mechanical problems, also lower miles ...yer choice but i would go with the 92-95...

92-95 Hatchback didn't come in EX form, just DX, CX, VX, and Si.

i thought that ex sounded funny for a hatch in those years. i don't really car if there was an ex in the coupe or 4 door....sorry, not till i have kids will i own a 4 door

are you stupid??? definatley a 4th generation si i love my ef!!!!!!!! i used to have a 91 integra and i love my ef more than my integra....trust me ef all the way...they look way better than the eg and ek's skroo them!

sorry im still trying to get familiar with civics, i dont know that much about them, i want to get a civic and put one of those h22 engines in it,im getting an 89 si hb from my friend.

knowing how your posting in the EF forum 4th GEN PRIZIDE, Skrew 5th gen, Stupid Lamers!!!!!!!!! j/k I like 4/5th GEN hatch's remind me of jelly beans hehe .....Anyways depending on price between the 2 I'd have to see pics, how they are when they ride and also interior condition. It's mostly on personal preferance got any pics?
