jdm d15 vti motor is a sohc vtec d15b. the shown valve cover is not from the vtec head. look at the spark plug location. its more like the 88-95 style d16a6 or d15b7 valve cover.

there are other d15b motors without vtec, as shown here

so what does are the specs on the hyper civic? what would be so "hyper" about a sohc non vtec that they just couldnt throw in a vtec motor.

 

its a 1.3 LXi motor that comes out of a car called "The Honda City"
