Default did i do somethign wrong

ever since i installed my tachometer every time i downshift to slow down my speedometer and raido turns off. i dont know what to do i checked all the fuses the wires everything. Im getting worried because im scared the problem might get worse thanks guys

i'm sorry, that's kind of funny.

On a serious note, try uninstalling the tach, and put everything back the way it was in the beginning. Then check to see if the problem still exists.

That happens to me once in a while, but I don't have a new tach...

When I downshift, usually from 4th to 3rd, about once a month or so, the speedometer will drop down, the radio will blank out, then they'll both come on after about a quarter of a second... Presets still good, nothing wrong except that temporary power down...

I figure it's a short somewhere in the system, but damned if I can find it... Check your battery connectors, the rubber piece on my positive terminal wasn't covering it properly, and my car was doing funny **** for a little while... Seemed to help as it hasn't done it to me since...
