Default Glazed pads after lapping?

I currently run some hawk hp+. I did some lapping last week and was hard on the brakes. After 2 hot laps I could feel some fade and after 4 it didnt stop super.

Now when I drive my car on the street, the brake pads dont bite as hard as before the event. I can almost say that the braking is now crap. The rotors look blue/purpelish and the pads have some "mirror" spots on them.

Are the pads dead?

Buff the surface with sandpaper... like 300 grit stuff, and re-bed them in. I'm guessing the pads look like this:

Do you really have to go through the whole rebedding proscess, or is it sufficient to just do a couple of hard stops?

Yea driving like normal on the street should fix everything over time. If it really makes you mad you can bust out the sandpaper and sand the pads lightly, and sand the rotors some too.
