hey everyone...there was a post 2 days ago about getting your side bumper coating and your markers back to black and i just wanted to say not to buy that black die stuff because i have found the real solution.....it's penut butter....just like the guy said in the post i know a couple of people read it ....to get them back to shiny black all you do is take some alcohol and rub it over them to get the moldings clean...then take a jar of penut butter and dab it on a rag and rub it on the rubber parts ....kinda wax it with the penut butter..then after you do that just go over it with the alcohol again and it will take off all the excess penut butter....then take it to a car wash to get the smell out and your moldings will be back to flat black it works so well......this guy who posts on ht told me about it and i didnt believe him because cmon..its penut butter but i did it anyway and it works like a champ so i just wnated to post and say to spread the word youll save 15 bucks just by going in your pantry and gettting some penut butter....later

i tried it, didnt work for me, so i went and spend 2bucks on some black shoe polish and applicators, and it came out pretty good, looks much better.

 

you have to rub it in real good

the shoe polish i dont think will wash off, u put it on , let it dry, then rub it with a rag. I did it like 2 days ago, then it been raining since, and i checked it, and water beads up on it, but its on there good.

i used skippy penut butter and the water doesnt bead and i did one side as an expieriment 2 days ago and it has stormed both nights since and it is still perfect..i just washed my car and its still perfect penut butter works so good im telling you shoe polish sucks.....and the penut butter doesnt even make the car smellor it doesnt leave smudges it looks like brand new factory moldings.....say yes to skippy

 

i dono man, shoe polish worked good for me, peanut butter did do anything to the car, but made me feel like an ***.

Oh cool.. Imma go rub penut butter all over my car so I can attract bugs and other animals on the street.. and if i'm hungry i'll just pull over and lick my car.. I hope I dont forget to bring the bread and jelly.. LOl.. J/K..

Go to the part store and speed 6 bucks on a bottle of "back to black" it works great and then you can use the peanut butter to make a bomb *** P&J sandmitch

 

you can always spend 6 bucks on a can of "trim black" .
