Default installing, have a cpl ?'s

have my dsm's in, oil pan off, and manifold on, starting to fit the turbo on.

88 CRX having fit issues with the lovely cross-member. I know everyone will say "buy the (z-10, jim fab, place, etc....) " My ? is can I do some hacking untill one of these comes in. MY problem is the compressor comes down close to the cross member. Would a silicone 90 off the compressor work better than a steel 90? I thought wbout fliping the turbo around but then I have to rework the downpipe.

are most of you running a silicone 90 off the compressor on crx's? I have seen some that go through the winshield wiper bottle hole but I don't want to go that way if I can help it.

What should I do????
Thanks
