Default Lovefab powered SOHC!

Well, It is done and in need of some serious tuning! Tinker did one hell of a job creating this monster because that is what it is. My big T3 fit without any problems, it cleared the a/c compressor, and the hood closes! It would be unrealistic to have this kind of manifold and expect the a/c to work with no modifications. The way tinker designed it, allows me to make the a/c work with a little modification of the compressor lines and the placement of the condensor. Look at this pic

you will see that the manifold clears everything except the condensor was in the way, so the solution, move it forward an inch or two. If you would want cold a/c in stop and go traffic put the fan in front of the condensor. In order to move the condensor, you will need new lines coming from the compressor which is why they are missing. This could be a 10 min job with zip ties and lines made by a local a/c shop. A/C will work if you are creative.
As for performance goes, Wow! My friend was using the same turbo on his ls/vtec for a month with a log mani, and he did not get 10 psi untill 3900. (1st gear) With my sohc I am hitting 10psi at 3400 rpm. Besides the increase in spool, the high end flow is remarkable! The thing dosen't stop pulling! I know the bigger tubo and FMIC help there also, but there is no doubt that the manifold plays a huge roll on that also. I will be getting this thing tuned as soon as I head towards orlando, so stay tuned for dyno #s.
You can not forget the wow factor either! How often do you see a sohc with a full-race manifold! Thanks Cody
I am sorry if these pics do not do justice!

well, $350 for the MST (mild steel tubular), and $400 for the SST(stainless steel tubular). I can make the Excaliber for the D series too If somebody wants to get HARDCORE with a D series, the Excaliber is the way to go. Oh ya, dont even think about AC with this one

I have no idea what the shop is called but the guy's name is Angel. I have heard good things so far and it is the cheapest I have found. $75 an hour. I dont know if I would bring him an aem but all I want is the use of the widband. He uses an FJO unit with datalogging and I will do the tuning.

Well, I went to the dyno today and I am happy! I installed the smc dual last week and drove to Orlando to a fairly new shop called Advanced Garage. When I got there I was treated to a fresh dose of 600 horses from a supra that maxed out his profec-B with a t-78 and then I met Al (one of the three owners). My car totally untuned running 9psi with 9 deg.btdc baselined 159.4 hp and 128.5 tq. After an hour or so of retuning and 3 more runs I managed 208.9 hp and 175.4 tq. The one disadvantage about the smc is the time it takes to retune it. I was actually strapped to the dyno for over 2 hours but thanks to Al only charged me for an hour ($75). My a/f was around 11.3 on the last run and why I say "around" is because it is not recorded. So I am very confident that with the right tuning, my btm installed, My btdc being advanced a few degrees, and 10 psi, I could very likely see 230 hp! (Keep in mind it was 94 degrees out side). I am going to post the sheet when I get back to Tally.
The shop was great! They do custom fabrication and are not afraid of anything. Everyone there loves their job and seeing someone my age with his own shop, two lifts, a dyno and a fleet of fast cars puts a smile on my face! I highly recommend this place. Ask for Al or Angel.

Wow, Im impressed. My first dyno #
Anyway, you lucked out, because Im no longer producing that style out of respect for myself and other members on here. I still have the Excaliber, and the SideWinder will be ready soon.
The Excaliber should add a few WHP on top of that even!
