Just what the title says. I have a b18A1 that im swapping in to my 91 civic, i have an MSD blaster cap & coil for a d16a6 distributor, will it work on the b18a1? do they have the same distributors since they are both obd0?

Also, if they arent the same, is the wiring the same, because i have the b18a1 distributor, but the plug has been hacked off, wondering if i could use a plug from a d16a6?

 

I had a LS dizzy on D16 and it worked just fine, I don't see why the same setup wouldn't work on your motor

 

you would have to use the d16 plug anyway because it would have to connect to your harness. just match up the colors and it should work.
