Im soon to be getting a new body kit for my crx, since a local tow company decided to **** mine up. Im inbetween 2 kits right now, and dont know which one i should get. The Wings West RS Kit Urethane, or the Mugen Flared kit. the kit on my car right now is like the WW RS kit. I really like it, and would love to have it in urethane. Now, i really like the mugen flared kit, but its only sold in fiberglass.
But im wondering, does urethane weigh more? Also, how durable is fiberglass compared to urethane? I live where there are some bumpy roads, so i may bottom out sometimes, but most likely not, because i try to take it easy when i see the road is getting bumpy.
Its a really tough decision between these two, because im trying to keep my car as light as I can, while at the same time i want the car to look low, and be low, without destroying my new kit.
Thank you all for your help.

fiberglass is lighter, but very easy to crack, urethane is a lil heavier, but you can take that bitch and twixs it17 times and it still wont break...post pics of both..would like to see the flair mugen one..

here is the wings west (mugen look alike kit, image from http://www.crxconnection.com for pic)

And here is the mugen flared kit - (image from

Personally i love the kit i have now, i was just thinkin i would maybe go with the flared cause it gives it a little more of a lowered look, but the more i think about it, i really dont want to attract too much attention to myself, and the WW kit is just awsome!

once again, im back to the dillema, urethane WW kit, or the Fiberglass flared kit? Anyone have any pics of WW kits that look nice and low from straight on? Damn im in such a dilemma! As you can see, does my car look 4x4 right now, or what? Think it can go lower and be safe?

Yea, i wish the WW RS kit would look low tho, hmm anyone got any nice pics of it? Yea, i dont really wanna go fiberglass.. mine is shitted up too now.. maybe i just need the right combo of lowering and my 16" rims i just got with the WW kit =] Btw, what ur rear lights look like? i got new ones, nice crx in the middle of my new one, and need 2 new side rear
dude... Just drop your car with coilovers, or shocks...Then it wont look like that. If your front bumper is broken then just buy the front bumper urethane from ww to replace ... And keep the rest of the kit thats on the car.. Having a low kit is not going to lower the gap in your wheel well...=/

i'm pretty sure he knows that a bodykit is not gonna lose the wheel gap, his question is, which material is more reliable and which kit is gonna make the CAR look lower..i'd go with urethane...
