if you dont have camber issues on a honda thats dropped. then your not dropped. your high riding thinking your dropped. cuz no matter what u drop it 2.5 and it will have camber issues guaranteed.
on my ride going from 14" stock si's with insane wear on the inside, to 17x7 rims fixed it somewhat. giving the ground more surface space to lean on. but it still has wear issues.
i happen to rather spend more and get better than save a few and git ****.
those camber kits where the balljoint is the adjustable part, jus kick yourself in the jaw. they are crap. not a single brand have i seen last 20k miles if at 10k miles
but again i go for quality and durability over cheap price.
A-J's Racing has some nice upper control arms for ek's with adjustable camber. Very nice construction but very pricey and pain staking to adjust almost a grand for the set installed. around 720 shipped. AJ does not make em, they are imported from japan and u can buy them for like 400 bux over there. but of course since they are imported people seem to TAX ALOT.

good site. seem to tax alot to get ****. but i rather pay more and git what i want. than pay less and get less.
but hey. at least u can go through like 5 sets of those cheapy camber kits they make b4 spending the amount to get a set up quality upper control arms.

I got an ingalls style off ebay for $77 shipped, fits good minimal trimming of the control arm required for setting closest to stock (just square off the corners, i did with a hacksaw with the control arm still on the car). I havn't tried adjusting it yet, but it appears easy enough.

that is if you like your camber to be 3 degrees off

You will need kits for the car if you drop over 1.5". The spec for many Hondas is 0 degrees +/-1 degree. For each 1" of drop the Camber will go negative by ~.84 degrees. Do the math and you will soon see that kits are usually needed. Both of my cars have them on all 4 corners in one form or another (SPC and Ingalls). Rim size has little to do with it as it is the angle that the upper arm is at after lowering that is a key here. Take a look at both the Ingalls and SPC websites and read the articles they have. The brand you buy is important up to a point. I personally like the way the SPC sliding ball joints work on the front of the Prelude while I have Ingalls 3571 on the rear of that car. Our CRX Si has SPC 84955 kits on the front and shims in the rear for Improved Touring race use. I will add that both Ingalls and SPC have really good control arm products that you can use as well.
My source for Camber kits is Ultra Performance in Tucson-great to deal with and give great service and pricing.
If you are concerned about ball joint wear-the SPC kit is first rate and should last a very long time-the Prelude has much more than 10k on its set, including track days.
LAST thing here-Get the car aligned BEFORE you buy any parts.

Also
what exactly do I need for the rears.
Everybody tells me to buy shims, so do I just use washers?
Some camber kits I see look like a long pencil for the rears.

Align the car After you put the camber kit on. Look around, theres places that will do lowered cars. Its not that much harder on a lowered car, theyre just lazy and dont wanna screw with it, or dont wanna try and get it up on the lift.
