Just wanted to post this now so you can be sure to get your hotel reservation for this huge event and plan ahead. And be sure to ask for your SCCA discount where ever you want to stay. I loved the Kenilworth Lodge, where I stayed last year, and it's just a 5 min drive to the track. It also was cheaper with the SCCA rate then the place on Sebrings track site for the weekend, realy nice place too you may want to inquire for their rates.

It's a two day event with points awarded on both days. The course will be on the 3000' back stretch of the racetrack and should be just a little over 1 mile long so you'll really get to do some highspeed passes too. CFR Hopes to have a great turn out like last year's event so pass the word on to your buddies and do try to come down on friday night to register and tech then.

If the weather is like last year then dress ultra cool, bring gallons of water and lots of sunblock.

Well the cheapest room in Sebring with a SCCA discount is at the Kenilworth Lodge at $49/night plus 9% sales tax. The chateau elan on the track grounds is offering rooms at $74/night with the SCCA discount and you still have that damn 9% sales tax on top of that.

 

Hmm, my cheapest room is FREE gotta love having friends all over the place

 

Darn, I think I'll be running a Martin event in Palm Bay that weekend. So many autocrosses, only so many free weekends. Plus I need the points.
