Default to race or not to race...

I haven't taken my car to the track, because my car is a couple monthes old. However i did read an article in sport compact car that our cars run a 1/4 of 14.5s stock. Has anyone in here gotten a 14.5 on a stock R?

thanks

I've been able to run 14.6 stock but it all depends on the track conditions and how you launch. It takes a lot of practice.

I want to start another argument about the use of the word "track".

Yes D....I think we need to clarify that for good. I always tell people I race and they always assume drag

I have to go out of my way to make it a point to say "R O A D race"

If you race on it, it's a track. IMHO anyway. Why nitpick it?

Take your car out and run it dude. Turns are more fun, but drag racing is a good time too. Go with some freinds so you have someone to hang with while you wait to run (you'll be doing a lot of that). Type R's are great for someone who wants both a Friday night brackets car and a Sunday autoxer in one package.
