Default itr for an nsx

I know finding a good NSX(91-93) around 25000 is very hard..
What if i find one, do you think it's good to trade my 01 ITR for an NSX?

Me personally, I'd say no. This is because in my book a warranty is important and being able to afford a car and being able to afford its maintenance costs are two different things.

No, I don't feel good buying used car at that high price. Nothing beats a new car feeling!

I love NSXs, but I would wait and save till I can get the 2000 models (or 2001, whicheve is the last year of the flip-flop headlight models)

I dont think you could find a decent NSX for $25,000. If I did find one for that price I sure as hell would trade. I remember this guy came in my work with a 92 NSX he was selling for 28,000. When I mentioned I had a ITR I would trade (jokingly of course) he said we could talk about it. I know he wasnt serious but it got me thinking for a few days.

according to nsxprime.com

I heard the tranny and clutch combo could set you back several thousand..., like 10k+

I don't know if there's any merit to that statement, however.

The tranny repair you may be referring to is the faulty snap ring problem some of the early NSX's had. You can find out which NSX's are in the snap ring range by looking it up on NSXprime.com.

As for trading an ITR for NSX, go for it. The only caveats are that you'll go through tires much faster and you will need another car for the winter. Also, depending on your credit, you may need to put a sizable amount of money down to finance a 10 year old car.
