A freind had the place racing in his rex, the thing vibrated really bad, and I know they are solid mounts which would cause that. But my Hasport 3 piece kit in my 89 hatch didn't vibrate nearly as bad. So what I'm saying is, I like the Hasport better, but I guess 4 mounts would be better then three. That probally didn't help much

what exactly are you trying to find out.

if you want to use all four mounts from place racing, then you have to purchase the place racing crossmember for an additional 200 bucks

i have the place racing 3 mount kit and it works fine, i cant imagine needing a fourth mount, my motor doesnt ******* budge, yes place racing mounts are harsher that most mounts until they settle, my car vibrated like my girlfreinds vibrator until after about 6 months, it still vibrates every once and a while at a stop light but thats about it.

yes the front crossmember is suppose to handle the 92-00 up radiator, however,

if you are asking if the crossmember is any good, i would have to decline, i have seen it , and i wouldnt spend the money on it, if it came down to it i would get a jim fab crossmember.

the place racing crossmember looks like its just a peice of steel that will bolt in, thats it. i think u can get the jim fab bar modified for the 4 th mount if you really think your gonna need it.

from what I understand, you cant even use the front mount, Im putting in a b18b and you cant use it, actually I have the place racing mount kit also and have to cut into the cross member in order for the exhaust manifold to fit, so in other words, dont bother with the four mount kit, you really dont need the front one, waist of money if you do.

i've got a B16 in my 91 hatch...i had to pound away at the front crossmember in oder for my header to fit.....the 4th is just a vibration mount that you dont need....i flatened the mount brace on the crossmember anyways....i forget his name on here but my buddy phil is turbo B16 in my same car and his todum 3 mount kit holds up fine

I have only 3 Place Racing mounts, car does vibrate but don't they all? My homie, who happens to be a mechanic, purchased Hasports mounts and now he has to send 2 of them back since the bushing part has been eaten away. He hates Hasport now..
