I picked up my CRX Friday, I recieved it for doing an engine swap. It is a bone stock 88 CRX SI with 225,000 Miles. I decided at the last second to run it at Beech Bend on NHRA weekend.
I got my car tagged at 7:00 and made my first run at 10:30. Not a good night for test runs, Obviously. Anyway this is the breakdown on my run: R/T .396 (I didn't red light?) , 60 Ft 2.738 , 330 Ft 7.087 , 1/8 10.639 , 70.31 MPH , 1000 Ft 13.697 , 1/4 16.307 @ 84.11 Mph.
I launched @ 2500 (Skinny Tires), Smooth shifts, I did make the split second decision to stay in 3rd, I bounced off the rev limiter near the end of the 1/4. Not sure if it bounced before i crossed though. I will definately will launch at higher RPM next time. But the main question: How are these numbers?
