i currently have maxspeed coilovers and am thinking of going to springs or maybe keeping the coilovers and jsut installing some tokico 5 ways.

someone is considering trading me his neuspeed race springs for my maxspeed coilovers. now the neuspeed springs are on his crx and they have about a 2" drop. i myself like lower and right now my coilovers are set up for a 3 inch in the front and 2 3/4 in the back. how will the neuspeed springs sit on my car will they be any lower because of the difference in weight??? also he said that there are 2 coils that are able to be cut on the front of the neuspeed springs, is that troo???? now i like the slammed look and luv how it looks now. is there any other set of springs that will keep the drop low on my civic coupe??? i ussually do have the rear set up higher when i race just so my car doesnt feel like its giving all the weight to the back. another reason why i like coilovers but just asking for advice.

 

if i was you i would stick with the coilovers and just get the shocks... if u dont like the way the ride sits on those springs then u'll prolly have to go through some other adjustments....but as of the coilovers u can adjust it anyway u want...have that slammed looked for when u cruise or raise it up for when your at the track...u can add or take away weight from the front....and i know u know that u can't do that with springs...so u make the call...hope this helps
