B20......... Vtec later????

Looking into the swap, I would like to do CR/Vtec... but heard good and bad things.... I know the bottem end was not made to take high revs... so should I Build bottem end before I put a vtec head on it?... Most likely when i buy the long block, im going to put a GSR tranny on it. then when i get the money, pistons, rods... and B16 head. I know it will run me more than a regular GSR swap in the end, but this gives me a chance to save, and buy... cuz im impatient

id build the block first personally..do it right the first time so you dont have to take everything out and do it all over again..id also go with a b16 tranny, they have better gearing over the gsr..

I would just get a B18C1, do it right from the get go---Block Girdle, piston squirters, made to take high revs from the factory.
ya dude if u search there is this whole big thing talking about ls and b20 blocks. I talked to this guy that gave me good reasons not to get it, so i really wouldnt do it. Stick with a gsr u can push alot out of it either f/i or all motor
