I need to know what the R owners think ...







what would you choose.. all polished JDM ITR wheels or gunmetal with polished lip?
tried to get a couple of shots so they can be seen at diff angles, and its not done yet ..but i would like some input .. lemme hear it

 

all polished... and shined up and clear coated...

kinda like 96 and up NSX rims

 

did you use aircraft paint remover?

I say you should have let it be..

But since you already striped it, polish it all up and make it bling bling yO!

 

gunmetal with polished lip first, and then gunmetal complete if it looks ghey

edit: though i would be curious to see JDM 16's all polished up too

hehe up ..got a gallon of this stuff.. ima finish up 1 rim and post a pic.. since im almost done with this one ..then we can get a good look.. so stay tuned.

 

Gunmetal!!! If they're blinging, they may look like cheap chrome wheels.

 

What about Bronze?

What color is your car? If it's black or white I would go Bronze- like a dirty penny, not too light!

i would also like to see them all polished if it looks good i am going to do it to.

 

btw so you guys dont think i killed the champ white wheels... they were frost white.... uhuh same thing i though ..thats how i got them... even doh they are perfect.. they are frost white... so stripping them dont bother me... if they were cw then i would have stressed it ...

i stripped them a lil bit more and got 1 side of my 5lug done ..so a pic will soon follow..

Really like the polished look...i think i might have to barrow the gf's car for a few days

 

I'd polish them in a second.

Too many people say gunmetal, bronze, etc.

Stick with what has been classic for years...Silver or polished.

yes i did.. the outside and lip is pretty much done, the insides and corners are a pain .. i might just do the insides and everything else gunmetal and leave the face and lip polished.. i need to adjust my camera for a nite view with flash so you guys can get a good clear view of the rim.. i will finish it up completely and try to get a better shot.

 

for a blk car..gunmetal is the way to go..

 

Polish them, I would do something different other than gunmetal,black etc.....

 

I say gunmetal, but that's just me
